I Wrote A Blog Post About Blogging, Damn I’m Smart

If only there was a way to show your audience how smart you are and how to treat you, all while leveling up your own brainpower. Spoiler alert: there is.

Let’s talk about blogging. No, not the “dear diary” bullshit—but the real deal. The kind of blogging that sharpens your mind, positions you as the expert people turn to, and keeps your audience coming back for more.

Here’s why it works: writing regularly forces you to think critically and organize your thoughts. It’s like a workout for your brain. Meanwhile, your readers get VIP access to your expertise. They’re learning from you, seeing your value, and (hopefully) figuring out how not to get on your nerves. Not to mention you can do it right from your phone—yes I am.

But blogging ain’t just about flexing your smarts. It’s a powerhouse tool for communication. Got a specific way you like to work? Blog about it. Need to explain how your systems run or how clients can use that shiny new tool you just added? Blog about it. Want to share industry insights that position you as a thought leader? You guessed it—blog about it.

Now, let’s talk consistency. Weekly or biweekly posts are best, but if that feels like too much, start with a monthly cadence. The point is to show up regularly so that they’re looking forward to it and reading in bed or wherever they are. Once you get rolling, you’ll see how blogging builds trust, educates your audience, and positions you as the expert you are. Plus, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of someone quoting your blog in their next meeting.

So, what’s stopping you? If your site is missing a blog page, you need to fix that. Your audience needs to hear from you—and you need a place to drop all that brilliance. Make it happen.
